Our Vision

At Pickleball on My Mind, we believe pickleball is more than just a game—it’s a powerful way to nurture mental health and emotional well-being. As a psychotherapist and an avid pickleball player, I’ve witnessed firsthand how the game fosters connection, reduces stress, and brings people together in a unique and uplifting way.

Pickleball has a magical way of combining movement with mindfulness. The fast-paced yet lighthearted nature of the game keeps you focused on the present moment, creating a break from daily stressors. Whether you’re laughing with friends on the court or celebrating small victories, pickleball sparks joy and builds community. MY Story

Hi, I’m Maria Guzzetta, a psychotherapist with a private practice in Massapequa, NY.

My journey with Pickleball on My Mind began when I discovered the joy and therapeutic benefits of playing pickleball.

This passion project grew out of my desire to share that experience while giving back to causes close to my heart. By blending my love for pickleball with my commitment to helping others through our Pickleball for a Purpose Events we have been accomplishing this mission

How did we come up with the name Pickleball on My Mind?

If you’ve played pickleball, you know the feeling—once you start, you just can’t stop thinking about it! There’s something about the quick rallies, the satisfying pop of the paddle, and the friendly banter on the court that sticks with you long after the game is over.

Pickleball isn’t just a sport; it’s an obsession (in the best way). You’ll find yourself replaying epic shots in your head, strategizing for the next match, or simply daydreaming about your time on the court. It’s the kind of activity that lights you up, fills your cup, and keeps you coming back for more.
